July 8, 2011 at the Putnam Investments Plaza. Joanne Chang left the world of management consulting to pursue her passion for cooking. Plying her trade at such renowned restaurants as Biba and Rialto, Chang opened her bakery and café, Flour, in the South End in 2000. She has since opened two more locations in Fort Point and Central Square, as well as the popular Myers + Chang in the South End. Her first cookbook, Flour: Spectacular Recipes from Boston’s Flour Bakery + Cafe, was published in 2010.
