Talking Tast: Tim Wiechmann

Although Tim Wiechmann was raised in Massachusetts, many of his formative years were spent in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and France. By age 20 he attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and worked a summer at La Truffe Noire, a One-Star Michelin restaurant. He worked in the kitchen of Aujourd’hui at the Four Seasons Boston and was later Head Chef at Ten Tables in Jamaica Plain. After moving to Paris, he worked under Alain Passard of Arpège, Alain Soliveres at Taillevent, and Joël Robuchon at his Atelier. After moving back to Boston, he opened T. W. Food with his wife in 2007.
